Students and their supporters set up a protest camp on the narrow strip of land 47 days ago, flying Palestinian flags and banners in support of the Palestinian cause outside King's College.
Those occupying the camp are maintaining their call on the university to conduct an ethical audit, terminate all investments, endowments research collaborations with any organisation that is complicit in the Israeli occupation of Palestine and genocide in Gaza and become a University of Sanctuary for Palestinian refugees and support Palestinian students and academics.
Protesters are determined to stay in occupation until their demands are met, despite other university encampments closing for the Summer recess
