Headline: Activists Citarum River Protest In Indonesia
Caption:
Activists from the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI) hold a placard that says Citarum is not fragrant and in front of it is a water sample from the Citarum River which was still polluted during the Citarum River protest in Bandung. The action rejected the extension of the implementation of the Citarum Harum program because it was deemed that there would be no change due to the lack of community participation on the riverbanks and urged the government to immediately take a firm stance to stop all forms of damage done by perpetrators of waste pollution to the river or in other words the Zero tolerance policy.
