The helicopter wreckage carries Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in the mountainous Varzaghan area, Iran, 20 May 2024. President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Abdolahian, and several others were killed in the crash. Raisi was returning after an inauguration ceremony of the joint Iran-Azerbaijan constructed Qiz-Qalasi dam at the Aras River.
