It is the second day of Trudi Warner (69)'s hearing in London and Defend Our Juries campaigners gather outside of the Royal Court of Justice to support her. On 27th March 2023 Ms Warner, a retired social worker from London Walthamstow, was arrested out of Inner London Crown Court for contempt of court as she held a placard that read: ''Jurors, you have an absolute right to acquit a defendant according to your conscience'', quoting the legal code. Ms Warner had no direct interaction with the jury.
