A huge quilt for Gaza was unfurled on the steps of the Met by pro-Palestinian protesters. Hundreds of demonstrators, musicians, dancers and speakers occupied the steps on Fifth Ave. The 30 x 50 foot quilt included paintings made by 64 international artists. Protesters call for the Met to cut ties with board members profiting from Israelwar in Palestine, to call for a ceasefire and to act for the preservation of Palestinian cultural heritage sites. People hold signs that read ''We see genocide'' ''Our humanity will not be broken'' ''Liberate the museums.
