Police officers responded to a disturbance call, Friday evening at approximately 10:11 pm on the 1800 block of Orchard Avenue. A suspect opened fire on police officers as they responded to the call, and the suspect shot one of the officers. The injured police officer was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive. No further information was immediately available.
