Muslim devotees travel on heavily overcrowded trains after attending the Akheri Munajat (final prayer) at the Biswa Ijtema in Tongi, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Locals tackle the journey by climbing on, clinging to, and clambering along the roofs of the trains.

With no seats available inside, many commuters decide to take the risk and choose a rooftop view for their journey out of Dhaka city.

Millions of Muslim devotees from around the world join the four-day-long event that culminates in the Akheri Munajat or the Concluding Supplication (Final Prayer) in which Muslims raise their hands in front of Allah and pray for world peace.

It is the second largest congregation of the Muslim community after the pilgrimage to Mecca for the Hajj.

After the Final Prayer, they risk their lives and have to travel by overcrowded trains because of the unavailability of enough trains due to the huge number of devotees.
