Millions of Muslim devotees from around the world join the four-day-long event that culminates in the Akheri Munajat or the Concluding Supplication (Final Prayer) in which Muslims raise their hands in front of Allah and pray for world peace.

It is the second largest congregation of the Muslim community after the pilgrimage to Mecca for the Hajj.

After the Final Prayer, they risk their lives and have to travel by overcrowded trains because of the unavailability of enough trains due to the huge number of devotees.
