A number of people met up to go ice skating on the Semkenfahrt in Bremen's Blockland district. The approximately 30-hectare area is probably the most famous ice rink in Bremen. When a frost phase is forecast in the winter months, the Bremen Ice Club floods the field in Blockland with pumps. Skating enthusiasts can then let off steam on the ice rink. Entering the rink is at your own risk.
