Headline: World’s Last Seagoing Paddle Steamer Sails Into Tenby

Caption: Hundreds of people lined the streets and vantage points of the picturesque seaside town of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, overlooking the harbour to gain a glimpse of the historic Waverley paddle-steamer as she made her way in to dock and collect passengers from Tenby. It is the first time in over 30 years that the Waverley paddle-steamer has come into Tenby and was welcomed by a small flotilla of fishing boats and Tenby’s two lifeboats. The large vessel can carry 600 passengers and this weekend sees the completion of its Bristol Channel tour.
