A carriage of the Taichung Metro (MRT) train is damaged after it was struck by a falling metal crane which was under operation at a nearby construction site. According to Taichung City authorities, at least 8 people including a foreign national have been injured and one person has died in the accident which took place at around 12 noon local time.
