This march is called "the immortal regiment". Its participants carry photos of their family members who fought in the Second World War. In Paris, this march gathered mainly Russians in favour of Vladimir Putin's policies and was led by PRCF (Pole de renaissance communiste en France) activists. Along the procession some dozens of Ukrainian activists opposed to the war that Russia is waging in their country showed their discontent.
