“Water rescue in the City earlier today. Please let this be a lesson to stay off the roads when flooding is possible,” they wrote.
At least 11 people have died due to Hurricane Ian, according to reports from local officials.
The Category 4 storm hit Florida's southwest coast Wednesday afternoon, causing catastrophic damage, fierce winds and dangerous, and record-breaking storm surges.
