The family have had to remain sheltered despite the retaking of the area due to heavy shelling. A statement from Donetsk Police said: "In the city it rains every day shells, destroying houses and killing civilians. But in at least one of the microdistricts of the city, a family with a child lives in the basement of a high-rise building. All their neighbors have evacuated, but they themselves are not leaving. And they showed how they survive in the city today."
