Headline: New Year's Eve Celebrations In Times Square

Caption: New Yorkers and tourists gathered together to celebrate the beginning of New Year 2022 at Times Square, New York with confetti and fireworks during the ball drop. Only about 15,000 people with proof of vaccination and use of face masks are allowed to gather around Times Square during the Ball Drop in an effort to contain the spread of Omicron, the new COVID-19 variant which has caused an increase in the COVID-19 cases in New York and USA. There were many famous singers performing at the event, like, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Uso Show Troupe that sang “New York” of Jay Z & Alicia keys , KT Tunstall who sang “Imagine” of John Lennon and others. And there was a very tight security all over Times Square provided by NYPD.
