Today renowned environmental activists occupied the last trees left by the development project by Catalyst Housing. Despite a long campaign and petition by Wornington Trees, a grassroots group of residents campaigning for almost one year to oppose the tree felling on Wornington Green and RBKC Council, a large part of the trees giving its name to the estate was felled during the last months. Residents hope the presence of renowned Tree Protectors will attract more attention from the media.
