STORY CAPTION: BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Wreck removal personnel resumed cutting operations on Wednesday (23 June) after completing required maintenance on the cutting apparatus. On 8 September, 2020, the 200-metre-long car carrier MV Golden Ray capsized within Georgia’s Port of Brunswick harbour in America. The South Korean vessel has been lying on her side in shallow water in St. Simons Sound ever since. The vessel was carrying thousands of cars.
