Headline: Disabled Surfers Ahead of International Surfing Day, Wales

Caption: Saturday, 19th June, is International Surfing Day, established by the Surfrider Foundation in 2005, this years theme is ‘The Beach Belongs to Everyone.’ These images, taken for International Surfing Day, are of Surfability UK. Surfability UK, who featured on DIY SOS for Children in Need, was founded by Ben Clifford in 2013 creating Wales’ first adaptive and inclusive surf school. This wonderful surf school, based at Caswell Bay, provides lessons and experiences for those with additional needs due to disability, illness, injury or learning difficulties. In the image: Charlie Little (front), with one of the Surfability instructors thoroughly enjoying the use one of the Surf Schools adapted chair surfboards which allows participants who may be wheelchair bound to experience joys surfing.
