Caption: The World's longest suspension footbridge has opened. The newly completed 516 Arouca bridge in Portugal is situated 175 m (574 ft) above the river Paiva in the UNESCO-recognised Arouca Geopark. It opened 2 May, 2021. It has a span of 516 metres, is 1.2 metres wide and consists of 127 metal railing trays suspended by steel cables.
