Headline: Last day of occupation of the Monnie Theater in Brussels

Caption: After having occupied the National Theater of Belgium, it is the Theater of La Monnaie (or National Opera of La Monnaie) which was occupied for approximately 2 weeks. Today, the order was given for its evacuation. The different initiators of this movement, gathered under the name lamonnaieoccupee, organized a series of speeches and artistic interventions. At the end of the day, an attempt to prolong the occupation by force unfortunately failed in front of the police cordons. The demonstrators then started a sit down with the cries of -occupy La Monnaie-. Talks with the management were started to negotiate this extension. This one will not be authorized but a delegation will be received according to the announcements by the various federal ministers. At the end of the evening before the curfew the demonstrators were evacuated by the police in a calm manner.
