The Cumbrian GP surgery is a key provider of the Pfizer vaccine and forms a local consortium with other practices in neighbouring Haverthwaite, Windermere and Ambleside. The Lake District is one of the main areas recently praised by the government for its efficiency in successfully rolling out the vaccination programme on a large scale with huge numbers in the over 70s age category already now vaccinated.
