Headline: Photographer Captures Charming Pictures of Wild Vole, Wales

Caption: 'Is it safe to come out yet?' A wild bank vole checks the coast is clear before coming out under a shed door. Near Corwen, north Wales. Photographer Richard Bowler says: "We're back in lockdown in Denbighshire so I'm tending to take most of my photos around our smallholding. Luckily it seems to be a good vole year and they seem willing to pose for a handful of sunflower seeds." A bank vole is a small vole with red-brown fur and some grey patches, with a tail about half as long as its body. A rodent, it lives in woodland areas and is around 100 millimetres in length.
