A snow monkey is seen having a very human reaction to a magic trick.

Hector Sansegundo, a Spanish a stand-up comedian and magician, made a tasty snack disappear from his hand – and the monkey was left open-mouthed in astonishment.

Hector fooled the primate a few times before giving it the treat at the Iwatayama Monkey Park in Arashiyama, while on holidays in Japan, on March 14th.

He explains: “Until now this magic trick I have only ever tried with people, but now I can see from testing on monkeys that it has a high effectiveness, with no side effects.”
