Caption: World renowned wildlife photographer Andy Rouse captured these stunning reflection pool shots of wild fox and tawny owl this month (June). Andy explains of his shots taken at a hide in Kirkcudbright, Scotland: “It’s a reflection pool in Scotland that has been built for photographers and it’s currently attracting wild fox and tawny owl. Amazing to sit and watch these animals, the pictures are very unique I think! “The shyest visitor was this fox, l couldn’t believe it when I saw the reflection. So gorgeous and so worth the long silent wait. “The silent mirrorless drive of the Olympus here allowed me to shoot continuously. I had no fear of the motor drive scaring it off. ISO was high at 3200 and the files are great for me. A good result all round. “The tawny owl action was great, we were surrounded by noise and it was awesome to listen to them going about their lives. The range of calls is something else too, they really vary their tone. If only we knew what they were saying! “Olympus E-M1X at iso 25,600 to get this swooping tawny. Art and silent 30 fps technology come together.”
