Headline: British Landscape Photographer Chooses Favourite Pictures of the Year

Caption: PICTURE SHOWS: Durdle Door, Dorset ... STORY COPY: British landscape photographer Matthew Pinner has chosen some of his favourite images from the year. The 29-year-old, from Highcliffe, Dorset, says he has had a great year capturing picturesque scenes at locations including Durdle Door. His shot of a beautiful poppy field in Sixpenny Handley, Dorset, entitled ‘Fields of Colour’, has been shortlisted for the British photography awards. Matthew explains: “It’s been amazing year in photography; getting up early in the mornings and chasing the sunrises. “One of my favourite images has to be Durdle door with the Sun rising though Durdle door arch; it only happens for a limited time of the year. But my overall favourite has to be the image I took on July 2nd at Six Penny Handley in Dorset that is now shortlisted for The British Photography awards.
