Headline: Couple Live With 350 Christmas Trees

Caption: Is this the world's most festive house? A German couple have decorated the inside of their home with 350 Christmas Trees. Thomas and Susanne Jeromin live in Rinteln, Germany, where they've festooned their 105 square feet house with 350 Christmas trees, fairy lights, and around 16,000 baubles. The couple started the collection eight years ago with a tree in their living room, before adding more in their hallway and then the idea escalated. Mr Jeromin, a 53-year-old chef, estimates he has spent up to 30,000 euros so far on the entire spectacle. He is also given items by friends, neighbours and strangers who have heard about his love of Christmas decorations. The project begins in September, and it takes the couple over eight weeks to decorate every single tree. Demolition begins on January 6th. "Decorating the Christmas trees has a calming effect on me," Mr Jeromin explains. Susanne is tolerant of her husband’s hobby, despite the fact his goal to install at least 500 trees. "My wife was against it at first and said," I want to move out," Mr Jeromin told haz.de. The festive feat has been recognised with a World Record for ‘most decorated Christmas trees in one place’ by the Record Institute for Germany.
