Dutch low-cost airline Transavia stripped a Boeing 737-800 of most of its contents to present this jaw-dropping aerial view. Spokesperson Claudia Metz told London-based news agency Cover Images: “Our Transavia Studios department organised this. With six people they worked Monday (30 Sep) night in consultation with the employees in our hangar to get this done. Due to our strict safety rules, this could only be done at night in close collaboration with colleagues from the technical service. “Part of the inventory of a Boeing 737-800 has been displayed in the hangar. Not everything, because we would have to place 189 chairs, that's why the colleagues chose a large part of the inventory. The seats are of course still on the plane, the seats that we used come from the warehouse. The images were made with a drone in the hangar at a time when work was no longer taking place. And so as not to disturb the normal operation, our own colleagues from the studio (communication have done as much as possible. “Completely in our style, because we implement "low cost, feel good" everywhere. The colleagues lying on the floor were a full crew who had just returned from a flight and went straight to the hangar. Only the captain is not a real captain but a Cabin Attendant in a captain's clothing. We did this all by ourselves at a time when this did not disturb the operation. And what a good feeling that this gave our colleagues, because we like to do things with a bit of guts! We loved making it!”
