Caption: How many ducklings can you fit in a firefighter’s helmet? That question was answered when South Metro Fire Rescue of Littleton, Colorado, were tasked with rescuing ten from a storm drain. Safely plucked from the drain, the little birds were gratefully reunited with their mother after being transported in a fireman’s helmet. SMFD commented: “Confirmed - Fire helmets can hold a maximum of 10 ducklings. Firefighters rescued this little flock from a storm drain at South Park Lane and Canal Court in City of Littleton. They’ve been reunited with their very worried mother and are all safe.”
