Seemingly smiling for the portrait picture in the book, Mya is listed as “K9 School Resource Officer”. The 2 year old Belgian Malinois, is trained as a narcotics K-9 and for tracking and article recovery. According to KATV, she started working on campus last Autumn with handler Sergeant Paul Tarvin. Bryant Police Department said: “So it looks like one of Bryant PD's finest School Resource Officer's made the Hornet Yearbook this year. Good job Mya, you are representing the PD with pride.....Hornet Pride!!!”
