Lester Morrow, a school teacher by day, set the sanctuary up Ima Survivor Donkey and Farm Animal Sanctuary after Hurricane Harvey destroyed his family’s farm in summer 2017. He says: "His yoga ball survived numerous poundings from a 2 ton bull with 36” horns, yet could not stand the sharp barbs of a Texas barb wire fence!" Tex has now received a new red ball and is spending quality time with it in his field. Lester says: "Ima Survivor Sanctuary was created after the devastation left by Hurricane Harvey and offers a forever home to the surviving animals of the worse natural disaster in US history."
