Caption: Amateur wildlife photographer Kevin Robinson captured this stunning aerial battle. His pictures show a short-eared owl being mugged in mid-air of a tasty vole by three kestrels. Kevin, a crane driver who works at Immingham Docks, shot the incident at Bonby, North Lincolnshire. He explains: "While I was out photographing wildlife, a short-eared owl dived down to catch a vole. It was attacked and mugged for the prey that it had caught by three Kestrels. It was a free for all! I had never witnessed this before, but there must be a shortage of food this year."
