Hawk selfie anyone?

This impressive self-picture shows New York's Amherst Highway Department employee, Tim Boyle, trying to warm up a "frozen" red-tailed hawk he found stranded on a road.

Amherst Highway Dept. explained: "Tim Boyle spotted this adult red tail hawk on Meadowstream Drive. The hawk was frozen. Tim brought the hawk into the truck and wrapped it in a blanket to try to warm it up. Animal Control was responded and took the hawk to the SPCA. This morning (6 Mar) the hawk is at the SPCA in a incubator recovering. They hope to bring it back to the nest when it is better."

Tim reported on Wednesday: "As of 9 o’clock this morning he still with us in an incubator keeping warm and showing some improvement."
