Headline: Stuck For An Xmas Gift: Hilarious Prank Gift Boxes From Co. That Recently Secured $640k Funding

Caption: Stuck for a Christmas present for grandma? How about a candle made from your earwax? Maybe a plant urinal? Or how about a personal flatulence plug? These are some of the side-splitting fake products dreamt up by Prank-O, a Minnesota based company that this month (Dec 18) secured $640k of funding on U.S. investment show "Shark Tank" on ABC. The $7.00 Prank Packs are empty gift boxes with a fake brand and product printed on the outside. Prank Packs are intended to confuse the person receiving the gift while hiding the real presents inside. The firm say they were the first entrepreneurs to pull a prank on the Sharks. Co-founders Ryan Walther (formerly The Onion) and Arik Nordby first appeared as a fake company "RynArik" with a terrible line of products. Once Prank-O was revealed, Mark Cuban offered a deal for $640K in exchange for 25% of the company that sells empty boxes, known as Prank Packs. The company say their mission is "to make the act of gift giving an unforgettable experience. The Prank Pack empowers the gift givers to bring fun and laughter to any gifting occasion. Prank-O strives to bring goodwill back to the fine art of pranking." According to Nordby, the $7.00 Prank Packs are "hilarious visual statements on consumerism". In other words, a Prank Pack is an empty gift box with a fake brand and product printed on the outside. Prank Packs are intended to confuse the person receiving the gift while hiding the real presents inside. Prank-O explain: "The brand is determined to pursue their mission of creating memorable experiences. It hopes to continue to create new Prank Packs and cultivate a community of goodwill prankers. They want to remind folks that pranking should be fun and something that everyone can participate in."
