Headline: Artist Celebrates Poop Emoji

Caption: An artist has celebrated ten years of the Poop emoji by representing it in 50 different forms. Toronto-based Justin Poulsen's Poo-moji project gets creative with everybody's favourite ice cream-like, smiling stool. Highlights include the poop appearing as a disco ball, mashed potato, a cake, a candle and even the shaving soap on a man's chin. Visual Creator Justin, 29, explains: "I worked together on this idea with creative agency Rethink. We were really interested in the public's draw to the poop emoji as well as the physical shape and how other items take the same form (ice cream, slurpees, etc). "Some of the ideas for how we depicted the poop emojis came from my past work (disco balls, ice cubes, candles). I had previously worked with these materials and the poo-moji video now acts as a subtle homage to my portfolio, as well as an amalgamation of my own artistic experience. "Other ideas were completely new and were picked out of thin air (sand castle, eye patch, dollar bill)."
