Headline: Forget Banksy, 'Minnie Lisa' Is Discovered Shredded

Caption: Forget Banksy, a mysterious artist called 'Pranksy' has shredded a tongue-in-cheek work of art. The 'Minnie Lisa' - based on Beano comic character Minnie the Minx - was reportedly discovered shredded in a similar manner to Banksy's 'Girl In Balloon' artwork. The McManus gallery in Dundee has been hosting the popular Bash Street’s Back at The McMenace' exhibition. ‘Minnie Lisa’ by Duh Vinci had been revealed at the show for its final weeks. But the work is now on tatters having seemingly been shredded out of the bottom of the frame. It has now been renamed "Minnie Lisa in the Bin, 2018", just as Banksy's shredded work was renamed "Love Is In The Bin". Kevin McGinley, Communications & Public Relations Officer, says: "The show, now in its last week, is already the most popular comic exhibition ever held in the UK and celebrates 80 years of Beano. The exhibition has now hit 100k visitors." ‘Minnie Lisa’ had been rumoured to have been left behind following the smash-hit Duh Vinci exhibition at The McMenace. Curators recently spotted the similarity between the Minnie Lisa and Minnie the Minx and it has now been added to ‘Bash Street’s Back’. "Art critics are already arguing it outshines Da Vinci’s most famous piece, The Mona Lisa," say the gallery. Minnie has also revealed the true origin of the mysterious enigmatic grin. She explains: "The artist had me sitting there for ages and I just let one go, silent, but violent...I think I did really well to hold myself to a tiny smirk."
