The incident at Hayfield High School in Alexandria, Virginia, saw motion sensors being activated by the snake. Thankfully, Animal Protection Officer Siobhan Chase was able to capture the serpent. It had escaped from its enclosure in the school's science lab. A Fairfax County Police Department spokesperson said: "Our officers were a bit hissss-terical when they found out what was setting off the motion alarms at Hayfield High School! Luckily Animal Protection Police Officer Chase was on the job."
