Headline: U.S. Police Show Off Carpool 'Cheats'

Caption: U.S. cops have highlighted some of the dubious ways people have attempted to evade carpool lane rules in the last week. Washington State police have shared three examples of drivers pretending to have a passenger - including one with a human skeleton. Trooper H. Axtman commented on that Halloween-style ruse: "This driver NB I5 at I405 in Sno County was dying to not get caught with this passenger, there’s no bones about it!" Another example from 12 September saw a mannequin, complete with hygiene face mask, glasses and a hoodie. Trooper H. Axtman said: "Don’t be fooled by this “dummy”, they won’t be able to produce any identification! The driver of this car was stopped by one our WSP for HOV violation SB I-5 in Lynnwood this morning." Finally, Trooper Rick Johnson of Patrol District 2, showed off a fake passenger composed of a hoodie with a pillow head, holding a tablet and a coffee cup.
