Caption: A house was almost split in two after a crane crashed through the roof. The property in Orlando, Florida was hit after the crane toppled over at around 1 pm on Tuesday (4 Sep). The owner of the Baldwin Park home told News 6 his wife and two children were not home at the time of the incident. Workers from Gold Key Roofing were working at the rear of the property at the time of the accident but were not injured. According to clickorlando.com, Ivan Fogarty of Beyel Brothers Crane & Rigging, who own the equipment, said the ground the machinery was on was wet instead of compact, which was a likely reason for collapse.
