Police have saved a rainbow unicorn.
Officers sprang into action to rescue a stricken mythical creature (in inflatable form) from a lake in Minnesota on Saturday (11 Aug).
The one-horned winged beast was being ridden by a group of ladies who had got their eye-catching steed stuck in weeds.
A Chisago County Sheriff's Office spokesperson explained: "Driving by a local lake we observed a group of women in a rainbow unicorn stuck in the weeds. Yes, in a rainbow unicorn...With a handful of laughs and some mad rescue roping skills they were pulled back to the dock! This job is a front row seat to the greatest show on earth. We are an equal opportunity help provider."
