Headline: After Finding a Note New Homeowners Honour Request to Look After Stray Cat

Caption: A new homeowner got more than she bargained for when moving into her new property. Miranda from Washington moved into her new home just over a week and a half ago and on moving day discovered a letter from the previous owners. The handwritten letter requested that the new owners look after a feral cat that lives in the garden. The note continued to explain that the cat was born in the backyard 12 years ago. It has an injured paw, and is afraid to go near people, but the old owners had success leaving food and water for it. They even bought the cat a house so it would have shelter from the rain and cold temperatures. “When we first read the note we laughed, we thought it was sweet but we also thought it was funny because we are like stray cat magnets. 4 of our 5 current cats were strays” Miranda told Bored Panda. Miranda said that by the time they read the note, the cat was already waiting by the door! “He wasn’t scared of us at all, when we are outside he keeps his distance but he [doesn’t] run, he even comes to the door to let us know when he’s hungry,” she elaborated. It might be early, but Miranda is already bonding with the cat. He has been named Razum "Raz" Dar and has even been introduced to the new homeowners' dog, Nyx.
