Headline: Kosmaj Project: Apocalyptic Aerial Visions of Russia & Eastern Europe

Caption: PICTURE SHOWS: Kosmaj Project say of this picture of Buzludzha is a historical peak in the Central Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria: "Buzludja drowned in the fog. Although even in the fog, it is beautiful." ... STORY COPY: These stunning images show apocalyptic aerial visions of Russia. They feature abandoned and crumbling buildings, as well as defunct Russian air force planes and helicopters scattered in aircraft graveyards as if they were toys. There are also pictures from Bulgaria and Poland. Another impressive picture shows the potentially radioactive Cape Aniva Lighthouse, which was built by Japan in 1939, but claimed by Russia after WWII. It is believed that the nuclear powered lighthouse may still be radioactive. The photographs are the work of a mysterious Russian group of drone photographers who call themselves Kosmaj Project. Going by the tagline "Abandoned. Breathtaking. Unbelievable." they explain: "We very often try to look at ordinary things with an unusual look." For one image of a scrapped plane seemingly biting the tail of another they say: "Here we also imagine these planes as close people, one of whom "gnaws" the other." Despite the miltary hardware on show, the group are strictly peaceful, they say: "Let's just agree that there will not be a war in our lives."
