Caption: The £97 million spaceship-like home designed by the late architect Dame Zaha Hadid for a Russian billionaire is finally complete after a ten year process. Dame Zaha - who died aged 65 in 2016 - designed the home in a plush Moscow suburb for real estate developer Vladislav Doronin, whom she would refer to as 'the Russian James Bond' due to his particular style. Mr Doronin bought the plot in the middle of the forest in Barvikha - a suburb of the capital known as Moscow's Beverley Hills - for £20million, which has now been adorned with the $140million (£97million) mansion. The structure, named The Capital Hill Residence, is built over four levels with the lower three levels merging into the hillside and the top level, appearing like a watch tower above the forest canopy. On the lowest level, the basement and leisure space includes a living room, massage and fitness area as well as sauna and Moroccan hammam baths. One level up on the ground floor is a main living room, dining room, several kitchens and entertainment area. Within the space are skylights, a double-height ceiling and a grand staircase, framed by two-curved concrete structures, which create a division between the main living room, dining room and the indoor swimming pool. The 25-metre indoor pool has a glass cover, which transforms it into a dance floor - and there's also an eight-car garage. On the first floor is the main entrance lobby, the study/library, guest room and children’s room. The beds are moulded into the walls like futuristic cocoons with built-in speakers, the wardrobes are made entirely of glass and the bathroom tops of pewter. There's also a wine cellar, a 3D cinema room, a nightclub, hair salon, Japanese garden, massage rooms - and, of course, a waterfall. The Capital Hill Residence is the only private residence by Hadid, whose work includes the London 2012 Olympics aquatic centre and the Qatar World Cup venue.
