Caption: Shoppers in Leeds are being offered some bonus retail therapy thanks to the addition of a 30ft helter-skelter which will allow shoppers to slide between floors at the multi-storey Trinity Leeds centre in the city. Dan Wharton said: “We’re making shopping quicker and even more enjoyable with our summer slide. “We’ve created our own beachside holiday resort – Club Trinity Leeds – where you can snap a selfie in our giant hammock, dip your toes in the sand and take a ride on our slide.” The shopping centre’s super-sized helter-skelter, which is set across two floors, is surrounded by Club Trinity Leeds, a mini beach club complete with a giant hammock and pool inflatables. The slide, which is free to use, launches to the public this Saturday August 19th and is open until Sunday September 3rd.
