Headline: Earth Day: Stunning World Panoramas

Caption: PICTURE SHOWS: Qsar Farid tomb in Madain Saleh archaeologic site, Saudi Arabia.... In honour of World Earth Day on Saturday (22 April), photographer Eric Lafforgue shares a beautiful gallery of stunning panoramas from around the world. Since he got the photography bug in 2006, the Frenchman has travelled the globe documenting the interesting people and landscapes. These amazing photographs include a salt-carrying camel caravan in Ethiopia, a hotel on an atol in the Maldives, the Kouang Si waterfalls in Laos, and the picturesque Um El Ma Lake in Libya. Ever since he was young, Eric says he has been fascinated by far away countries and travelling. He explains that he tries to work "through the perception of an ethnologist and the heart of an artist, privileging the regions or populations in danger and less usually visited countries."
