Photographer Darren Dawson captured these stunning images of a Scottish stag last tuesday (14 Mar).

They were taken at Glen Etive in the Highlands of Scotland.

"Myself and a friend drove from Dundee to Glen Etive for the day just to see these amazing animals," says Darren. "The scenery was also brilliant - well worth a visit."

The atmospheric area featured in scenes as James Bond's childhood home in Skyfall.
