And staff at RSPCA Leybourne in Kent are going the extra mile to find a special home for one-year-old crossbreed, Kenley. This handsome boy ended up in RSPCA care after he was found abandoned in Kenley, south London, on October 1 last year, and was named after the town. He’s been waiting for five months days for the paw-fect home and now staff at the centre have decided to try something new to show how fun and unique this boy is - by spelling his name out using their own bodies! Claire Yorke, from RSPCA Leybourne, said: “Kenley is a highly intelligent dog who needs a very special home. “We’d like him to go to a home where he’ll be the only pet so he can have all the attention he deserves. “Kenley has been having on going training on the lead and with obedience and has been blossoming. However, we think he needs an experienced home with owners who can continue his training. As he’s a big dog he can be a bit of a handful sometimes! “But he’s such a friendly and fun boy who will make a wonderful pet and a great companion.” Kenley would like an adult-only home with owners who can be around for most of the day. He’s a very smart dog who loves playing with his toys and playing fun games so will need an owner who can give him lots of physical and mental stimulation. “Kenley has responded fantastically well to all the work that we’ve done with him so we’d really like this to continue in his new home so he can reach his full potential,” Claire added. “Kenley learns very quickly and has shown a talent for agility so he’d love to continue with this in his new home.
