Thanks for the new challenges everyone, will look for these new targets." ....... They look like vibrant abstract artworks - instead these are jaw-dropping images of our beautiful Earth. These are the stunning views French astronaut Thomas Pesquet has captured withing the last few months - including a night-time image of Dublin for St Patrick's Day. They range from what Thomas calls the "minimalist snow art" of Russian fields to the reds of the Sahara desert "as if the paint had flowed over tens of kilometres".
