Headline: World Sleep Day Photo Project by Eric Lafforgue

Caption: PICTURE SHOWS: Mwila people are an ethnic group living in southern Angola, in the area of Huila. ........... With Friday (17 Mar) being World Sleep Day, photojournalist Eric Lafforgue shares his relaxing gallery of slumbering people around the world. Since he got the photography bug in 2006, the Frenchman has travelled the globe documenting the interesting people he meets. Along the way he has encountered all manner of resting folks, and the unusual places they find to take a doze. His pictures range from a little girl sleeping on a chair arm in Benin, West Africa, to a baby sleeping on a mound of lettuce on a vegetable stall in Opal, China. Other highlights include an adorable youngster snuggled into a hammock in Saudi Arabia, a North Korean soldier crashed out by a road, and a Chinese man sleeping on uncomfortable-looking rocks.
