Headline: Lviv Kindergarten Hit In Missile Strike Damaging 100 Homes

Caption: **RAW VIDEO** This video footage and these images show the aftermath of a Russian missile attack on an apartment building and kindergarten in the Western Ukrainian city of Lviv on Tuesday morning (15August2023). More than 100 homes were damaged in the attack, and more than 500 windows were broken. There were no casualties - but a huge crater was left in the kindergarten’s outdoor play area. “On the morning of August 15, a report was received about a fire in a high-rise building, which occurred as a result of an enemy attack,” officials from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a statement. “The fire started in the apartments of the five-story residential building and in the attic. The fire was extinguished at 10:20.” Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of Lviv, visited the site of the attack and described the damage. “2 hours ago on this spot, there was a children’s pavilion of our kindergarten,” he raged. “The missile directly and precisely hit this pavilion. Right now, there's a crater 9 metres deep with a diameter of 20 metres.” Lviv is around 500 miles away from the westernmost frontlines of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in the South and East of the country. However, it has not escaped Russian missile attacks on civilian infrastructure.
