Headline: Police Capture Fugitive Goat

Caption: You goat to be kidding! This ‘fugitive’ goat is pictured safely apprehended in a police car after going on the run. Alaska State Troopers sprang into action after a local animal control put out a wanted message describing a ‘very fast goat’ on the loose. An Alaska State Troopers spokesperson explained on Thursday (16 Oct): “A domestic goat on the lam early this week took Fairbanks Northstar Borough Animal Control officers on a wild ride, evading capture." Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Control had posted a message on Facebook that read, “HELP!”, accompanied by a picture of the goat captioned, “If you are the owner of this very fast goat, PLEASE call dispatch 459-1493. The goat is evading law enforcement and we could use your help!!” Alaska State Troopers said: “Enter Alaska State Troopers McKenney and Lemay. They got the BOLO (Be On the Lookout) and found the little guy on Tuesday, dodging cars near a local freeway. With the help of some goat-loving Samaritans, the Troopers were able to wrangle the wayward farm animal and place him behind bars ... until he could be released to his rightful owner.”
